Belize!

Pictures of our time with Mrs. Driscoll

BELIZE

Today my homeroom students were treated to a wonderful discussion on Belize from William's mom, Mrs. Driscoll. The students learned all about the culture and customs of this wonderful country. Mrs. Driscoll not only told us all about her experiences in Belize, but she also brought us in a delicious meal of beans and sweet rice, peach juice, and a delicious traditional cake. Thank you, Mrs. Driscoll, for a wonderful experience!!

We love having guests come into our class. If you would like to share a place that you have been to, or if you would like to speak to us about something related to Science or Math, please let me know.

  1. Dear Mrs. MacConnell and class,
    Greetings from Mexico!

My Family and I are having loads of fun in Cancun. Today was just relaxation, but tomorrow is going to be even more fun with either jet skis or para-sailing.

Later on in the week we might go explore some limestone caves (this reminds me of science class (: )

Also, we might go to Senor Frog's and the Rain Forest Cafe for dinner.

I will think of you guys every day at the beach.

    From, your classmate,

    Devin F

  2. Devin,
What a great surprise! I am so glad you are having such a fantastic time with your family! Limestone caves sound awesome. I think you should be a guest blogger when you get back. You can write all about the caves. Make sure to take a lot of pictures for us! Have a wonderful time jet skiing - be careful!

PS - I love that you put a dot on our map for the Yucatan Peninsula!
